  • November 2006: Practitioner courses will be completed in our Sydney and Perth Practitioner training centers.
  • August 2006: Another Practitioner pre-work study course commences.
  • August 2006: Our HeartMath Sydney team exhibits the HeartMath technology and training at the premier event: the Natural Health Expo Sydney Darling Harbour 2006, a trade event designed for health professionals and practitioners and including seminars workshops and exhibitors hall.
  • July 2006: The Australian Defence Force Army training wing at Wagga Wagga NSW facility engages the HeartMath Consulting team to provide training and HeartMath technology to their training colleges and program.
  • July 2006: The EmWave Handheld portable HeartMath unit is released in Australia to high levels of interest. In a few short weeks this technology has broken all sales records and is being snapped up faster than stock can be obtained. The EmWave handheld is companion to the award-winning EmWave PC emWave Interactive Learning System, and is a key part of the EmWave range of personal and professional technologies.   • February/ March 2006: Royal Australian College of GP's books more courses for their Doctors to assist with encouraging resilience, stress management and global wellness. Doctors study the HeartMath stress-management techniques to assist themselves & their patients, they also employ the HeartMath EmWave emWave Technology to monitor Heart Rhythms and display improvements gained through learning and practice

  • February/ March 2006: Another pre-work course for 1:1 practitioner training commences
  • November 2005: The last Practitioner accreditation of 2005 is completed with the Nov 4,5,6 training in Sydney. Next course commences February 2005 (also Sydney.)
  • October 2005: SOCAP Annual Conference Gold Coast. Macquarie Institute presented a workshop and a plenary session at The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals Annual Conference.
  • Annual Safety Conference -Homebush Bay Sydney- We present information on improving worker safety and health through use of our innovative programs.
  • September 2005: New Courses run for Doctors-- helping Doctors cope with work Pressure.
  • Terrapinn Contact Centre World - Gold Coast. Macquarie Institute presented one of 2 major workshops for attendees at this major international conference event. Feedback was extraordinary.
  • August 2005: Our Stress relief programs are being proposed for use by Tsunami stress Counsellors in Banda Aceh. Used by UK , USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, NZ, feedback shows our approach is considered to be one of the most effective and well researched approaches to effective stress management.
  • The Tour de France is on. One of the leading coaches at this world event France uses our wellness program to improve athletic performance.
  • July 2005: RCSA recruitment organisation has show-cased our work and seeks our services for its member organisations.
  • June 2005: Australian case study data shows highly statistically significant results for improvement in stress reduction indicators, and personal health benefits of our key course offering. Research publication produced and distributed in Australia.
  • February 2005: Helping doctors cope with work pressure

    The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Macquarie Institute announce agreement to offer courses for their members based on our proven resilience-building training and learning programs. These courses are designed to alleviate stress, build resilience and overall wellness. These proven research-validated courses have been successfully provided to more than 100,000 executives, business-people, educators and health professionals world wide. The course being offered is called the 'Resilient Doctor' workshop.

    The first workshop is to be run in conjunction with the RACGP conference on 7 May at the Crown Plaza Coogee Beach in Sydney, with the full day workshop conducted on 8 May. Category 1 development points apply to RACGP members. (as it is Mother's Day a special invitation is extended to spouses as well.)

  • January 2005: Harvard Business Review Article

    Macquarie Institute announces an updated case study on the reduction of stress, improvement of health, wellness and leadership attributes in Executives.

    The core of this case study was published in the July 03 edition of the Harvard Business Review, and has now been updated to include all Australian data on program effectiveness.Request a copy of the updated HBR based case study

  • December 2004: Our Courses for educators have been broadened & revised.
  • Macquarie Institute announces additions to our popular HeartMath range of courses and programs. We now offer an exciting 'Resilient Series' of coaching, workshops and resources: starting with the Resilient Educator a revised IQM course designed for assisting teachers and other educators.

    The workshops provide delegates with a set of techniques and tools that can be put to use immediately to help build personal resilience, stress management and peak performance competencies.

  • Congratulations to all those health providers who completed their certification and gained their HeartMath License in November. At this course we welcomed our aussies friends as well as friends from New Zealand. This course is a combination of distance learning, self-study, telephone coaching and 3 day face to face training to complete a proven program of study enabling 1on1 provider status. Now more than 300 professionals have completed this course in Australia and North America. ( more than 60 in Australia & NZ covering most cities and regions)

  • October 2004: The Safety Conference, Sydney

  • June 2004: Help Desk and Call Centre Institute (HDI/CCI) annual 'Pac Rim' conference.
    In association with HDI we will present our core HeartMath workshop, 'The Power to Change Performance'. This full day workshop will teach four key skills to help people manage stress 'in the moment' it occurs. HeartMath is becoming accepted as one of the most advanced stress management systems available in the world today.
  • June 2004: New practitioner certification course scheduled for commencing September 2004.

  • June 2004: The Customer Service team have embarked on a program to educate and enlist an additional number of practitioners who wish to become resellers and Affiliates of our training and coaching solutions. Already more than 50 providers have been trained in HeartMath tools and techniques across Australia and New Zealand.

  • October 2003: Visit by International spokesperson Howard Martin from USA office Heartmath LLC.
    The upcoming visit in mid November by Howard Martin is attracting a great deal of interest from Press and organisations. Macquarie Institute is hosting a leader's briefing provided by Howard at the Westin Hotel on the Monday evening of 11/11/02. Last years's 2001 visit's talks and workshops were sold-out in Sydney and Gold Coast. Macquarie Institute leads globally at the forefront of learning, and enterprise.

  • June 2003: Largest Catholic School in Canberra buys more than 20 copies of award-winning software for learning simple yet powerful stress management techniques facilitating nervous system balance and peak performance in the zone.
  • June 2003: HeartMath article published in the Harvard Business Review. 'Pull the Plug on Stress' describes through a case study of a UK executive how stress works, and how it can be beaten.   • May 2003: This month we complete another course for 1:1 health practitioners and counsellors bringing the number of licensed practitioners to 35 and allowing coverage of all major cities and regional centres of Australia and New Zealand with high level support.
