Over the last year several important steps were completed to prepare the HeartMath organisations for global expansion. The emWave® technology patent was issued in the U.S. with filings in eight foreign countries. A new company, Quantum Intech, Inc. was formed to develop technology licensing partnerships with global corporations who have brand recognition, compatible technologies, and wide distribution systems. HeartMath LLC expanded corporate training programs for Fortune 500 companies and health care organisations in the U.S., Great Britain, and Australia. The Institute of HeartMath continued its research on heart-brain-body interactions and assumed leadership of all educational and school initiatives. These actions position our enterprises for global effectiveness.

HeartMath LLC (HMLLC), the training and consulting company, has refocused its flagship program, The Power to Change Performance, using emWave technology, to provide companies with return on investment (ROI) cost justification measurements and launched its Staff Retention and Development Program to reduce high turnover rates in health care organisations. HMLLC is winning larger contracts by focusing on what counts in today's market - saving companies money - through lowering turnover and health costs and improving safety. Its global strategy is to license intellectual property and programs for specific training applications in health, personal development, e-learning and corporate performance.

The Institute of HeartMath (IHM) expanded its educational division and launched its TestEdge™ program to improve student behavioral and academic performance. There is tremendous need among children all over the world to develop emotional competency skills and there is enormous pressure for students to improve test scores. IHM's TestEdge™ program has been proven to facilitate both quickly and effectively.
